Level 1 Sensor Assembler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Soldering fine wire and small electronic assembly.
  • Performs intermediate assembly task, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, and color-coding parts, and assembling.
  • Tends machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.
  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
  • Performs online Go/No Go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Electronic manufacturing background is helpful but not necessary.
  • In-house training provided.

Wage/Benefits:

  • This is a full time, non-exempt position. Hourly wage is $17.50 to $18.75 per hour.

Quality Management Representative

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of an established AS91000 Quality System, establishing/maintaining internal processes/controls, and conducting various oversight activities and product quality related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, enforce, update QMS/QC plans to drive performance ISO9000/AS9100 standards throughout the company and compliance with standards.
  • Establish/maintain operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements.
  • Conduct internal audits/NCRs, and document corrective actions as needed.
  • Support external audits of the AS9100 Quality System and address any non-conformances identified as a result.
  • Review and approve drawings, procedures, and other documents as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience performing quality control and/or assurance in an industrial/technical environment. To include internal auditing experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations. These can be concurrent time periods.
  • ISO 9000 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems Standard familiarity/implementation experience.
  • Must have strong interpersonal & leadership skills. To include ability to communicate with and mediate disputes between different departments/customers/auditors.
  • Must have strong reading comprehension, as well as written & verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Must have proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of technical writing.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.
  • Experience with Corrective Actions and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • ISO9000 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems Standard – Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Aerospace/NDT background.
  • Familiarity with US Export regulations.

Education/Experience:

  • College degree and/or other advanced education and applicable prior knowledge, skills, and experience preferred, but not required.
  • Manufacturing or NDT related experience and/or training preferred but not required.
  • Applicants with any combination of desired experience and education are encouraged.

Wage/Benefits:

This is a full-time position. Hiring salary range is $75,000 – $90,000.
